Today was Emma's first day of preschool at McEachern UMC. I was a basket case, but she was so excited and couldn't wait to get out of the van at carpool. While we were waiting for one of the teachers to come get her, she asked me if Mary was going to cry when she went to school. I told her I felt sure Mary would cry because she would miss her big sister so much, so Emma leaned over to Mary and said "I have to go to school now because I am a big girl. You can go when you are bigger, but you can't go right now because you are little. Don't cry when I get out of the car because you and Mama are going to come back and pick me up in a little while." I didn't tell her that it was Mama who might cry when she got out of the car! Here is a picture of her before we left for school. Most of you know what a late sleeper she is, and if you look closely, you can see how puffy her little eyes are - she's used to sleeping until 9 or 10, so 7:30 is early for her!

Saturday at Stone Mountain
Today we spent the day at Stone Mountain. It was a little hot, but we had a great time! These are a few pictures from our trip.

Jake Owen, Dierks Bentley, & Kenny Chesney Concert
On Sunday night, Wade and I went to the Kenny Chesney concert here in Atlanta. We had 7th row seats and an unbelieveable view! Most of our pictures are pretty blurry because I was dancing too much, but here are some of the best ones!

Mary's Pictures
Little Mary Wade is growing like a weed! She had her 4 month checkup last Friday and she was 25 1/2" long (90th percentile) and 14.5 lbs (75th) percentile! I took to have some pictures taken today and wanted to share my favorites. She did really well and I think she loved all the attention!

Our House
While it's clean, we wanted to share some pictures of our house in Powder Springs!
We have been here a little over 5 months and have had a lot of fun settling in.

This is a view of the entryway from the den, and a view of the den from the entryway.

Above is another view of the den from the kitchen, and pictures of the kitchen and breakfast area.

This is the main guest room, and the keeping room off of the kitchen.

The first picture is our "Maui Room". We honeymooned there and have always wanted to decorate a room around the most romantic place we've ever been. (We still have a long way to go, but at least we have a theme!) The second picture is of the upstairs guest room.

These are pictures of the girls' rooms and their bathroom. The first picture is Mary's room. Since she arrived 2 weeks early, and we'd only been in the house about 6 weeks, we never thought we'd have it ready for her. We finished it only days before she was born, and we think it is as cute as she is. The second picture is Emma's room. We are going to paint it the same green that we used in Mary's room, but we just haven't had the time yet. The bathroom that they share is a really soft pink, and we can't wait to get Emma's room finished so it will all coordinate.
This is our master bedroom, which I absolutely love. It needs more furniture, and a few things for the walls, but it's my favorite place to be.

These pictures are of our master bathroom. It needs a lot of little touches, but we haven't decided exactly how we want to decorate it, so it's pretty bare right now.

Hats Off!
Emma got a new cowgirl hat that she is VERY proud of and looks so cute in...
Mary wanted to show off HER lid, too...
So when Samson wanted in on all the fun, we just couldn't say no!

Our Beautiful Girls

On Tuesday, I took some pictures of Emma and Mary that turned out beautifully. Emma (our little ham) had a great time, but Mary wanted no part of it. These are some of our favorites.
